Earthling Indonesia is an organization that consists mostly of
Indonesian diaspora living in Germany with various educational and
professional backgrounds. Since founded in late 2019 in Berlin,
Earthling Indonesia currently has 25 active members living across Germany, UK, and Indonesia. As an organization, we aim to promote sustainable
living and to raise awareness of climate change and the importance of sustainable action, especially in Indonesia by giving everyday and local contextualization of the global SDGs. Furthermore, we show the importance and implementation of a sustainable way of life in all areas of life and contribute to the promotion of environmental projects in Indonesia. In this context, Earthling Indonesia promotes nature conservation and landscape management as well as the continued existence of people, nature, animals in all their diversity and thus the implementation of SDGs. We would also like to encourage the Indonesian youth to utilize their expertise to build a sustainable Indonesia by organizing public seminars, workshops, and webinars on the topic of sustainability. We also hold competitions open to the public to promote the emergence and publication of innovative ideas for solving the current climate crisis.
