The "Münchner Klimaherbst" has developed into one of the most important and most respected event and educational platforms for sustainability issues in Munich. Through workshops, lectures and innovative event formats, sustainable living and climate protection are brought to the attention of citizens of all ages.

The Münchner Klimaherbst event series exist since 2007. Initially as a loose association of a group of various organizations and associations working in the field of sustainability, which alternately took over the sponsorship. The "Netzwerk Klimaherbst e.V." was founded in 2015 in order to meet the steadily growing interest and increasing number of visitors.

The aim of the Münchner Klimaherbst event series is to sensitize as many Munich citizens as possible to the issue of climate change and to activate them for climate protection. The aim is to address as many groups of the population as possible with a variety of topics and event formats. Participants will be encouraged to consider sustainable lifestyles and shown ways to implement them.

This already begins with the participatory creation of the program: organizations, initiatives and companies, actors from city politics and administration, but also committed private individuals are invited to help shape the program.
