Published annually since 2002, the Education for All Global Monitoring Report evaluates the progress of the Member States towards the six EFA goals agreed on at the World Education Forum in Dakar in the year 2000.
The Global Monitoring Report 2013/2014 focuses on "Teaching and Learning: Achieving quality for all". This eleventh edition analyses the role of teachers and quality education. Right now 250 million are not learning basic literacy and numeracy skills, even though 130 million among them went to primary school.
