Public Private Partnerships
In numerous programs, the German Commission for UNESCO (DUK) implements sustainable ideas in education, science, culture, and communication. Since societal and environmental challenges of the 21st century can only be solved collectively, DUK strongly relies on the expertise and know-how of proficient partners from the private sector.

In Public Private Partnerships (PPP), DUK and private partners combine their unique strengths. They jointly realize ambitious project ideas and contribute to the promotion of UNESCO’s objectives and German UNESCO-policy.
For DUK, PPP is more than financial support through the private sector only. PPP means trustful cooperation on a partnership basis in line with DUK’s and UNESCO’s statutory objectives. DUK expects that private partners identify with those objectives and actively contribute to their translation into practice
