Conference Report

On the 28th and 29th November 2006, experts from more than 35 countires gathered in Bonn to discuss progress to date in implementing the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, and to discuss the way ahead for the Decade. Around 50 participants - drawn from the fields of science and research, government ministries, UNESCO National Commissions, non-governmental organisations and international bodies - met at the invitation of the German Commission for UNESCO and the Ministry for Generations, Family, Women and Integration of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia, with support from UNESCO.
